I will be in Seoul at the end of June and I need to get to Mongolia, currently I have only found flights costing over £350. I am finding this very expensive for a back packers budget.
If anyone has any ideas on how to get from on country to the other I'd love to know
thanks

Reply to this I'd start by looking into a ferry from Incheon to China, which will likely be cheap but quite long. To get to Incheon from Seoul you can take the subway which is really cheap and easy and I'd recommend a night in the jjimjilbang (bath house) to help with your costs. "In-spa World" will cost you about 10,000 W for the night and will probably be a good location for catching the ferry the next day, but otherwise there isn't much else in that industrial area...
While you're local you could look around China Town and Jayu (freedom) Park and see the McArthur statue, or if you have more time take a camping trip out to Muuido which is gorgeous (go through the week so you can have it to yourself).
Also, whilst in Seoul I'd rec. Dragon Hill Spa Jjimjilbang by Yongsan Stn., Rainbow Bar in Gangnam and if it's your cup of tea go and see Nanta at the Theatre.
