I think there should be events in multiple places around the world.Get all members all over the world to mark the anniversary since its kind of difficult to get people to meet at one location.

Yes, the plan is to arrange multiple get-togethers - we hoping to have one in each continent. It would be harder for people to get to, but something special to celebrate a special event :-)
The following time would be in a different country etc.
