I will be in Malaysia from the 19th February till 7th March. my iternary consists of Malacca, Cameron higlands, Taman Negara, Perhentian, Penang, Langkawi, Kuala Lumpur and finish off in Bangkok. What do you recommend since I planned of visiting Perhentian in the middle of our holiday due to transport combination...
Reply to this Looking like you want to cover so many spots in such a less time. I guess you need at least 2-3 days in each location and that too will be very short stay to enjoy a place completely. Further Perhentian islands is a wonderful destination and you need to spend more time (at least 4-5 days) over there.

Perhentian doesn't open until early March, and the weather hasn't been following the usual patterns this year, so I would recommend trying to do Perhentian at the end of your trip. Still might be a bit early in the season though. Hard to predict.
