I went out for breakfast this morning with my daughter. It was lovely, because people were getting into the Christmas spirit, and smiled at us and gave us cookies and baloons. My boyfriend missed out, because he has to work until early this afternoon.
We also went shopping for Baileys Irish Cream and some Christmas treats to eat.
Today, we also open some presents, but most will be opened tomorrow.
This year is extra special, because the snow is comming down outside. We are having the first white Christmas for around 25 years. 5 CM of snow are expected to fall here in Munich, Germany tomorrow, with a storm, so glad we are spending Christmas inside and at home. 30 CM are expected to fall in Berlin tomorrow.
Reply to this Merry christmas Mell, after ANOTHER night out for "Christmas drinks" I'm feeling extremely hungover today.
Nikki's mum arrived last night & is staying with us for Christmas & wanted to visit Smithfield meat Market today for the annual Christmas meat auction.
Crowds of people go, some just to watch, as huge slabs of meat are sold for next to nothing but there is a limited amount of meat & lots of people so if you want a certain type of meat you have to push people out of the way to get to the front & shout out what you want whilst waving money in the air........just what you want with a hang over, thanks to the mother in law! lol
Merry Christmas everyone I hope you're not feeling as hung over as I am :-)

Reply to this Our Christmas was great this year, our first with our new daughter, though she is still a little young to understand what all the fuss was. She slept through some of the good bits 😱 and I think I got much more out of it than she did. I cant wait till next year when she is old enough to know what is happening! And I am so looking forward to taking her north to Lapland to see Santa and his reindeer one Christmas!
Best wishes for 2011 from sunny and rainy New Zealand.
Reply to this We were in Sweden for Christmas to spend it with Diana's family but of course this means having a white Christmas 😊 For Chris coming from Australia it is quite a different experiance and I recommend anyone to give the opposite a go at least once to see what it is like.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and great New Years 😊
Reply to this merry christmas to all of travelblog members and happy travelling.
