Hi,
I plan to travel through India by train.
I bought some e-tickets online (AC first class, 1A) and they have no seat numbers.
Instead of seat number is says confirmed.
My question is: this tickets (without seat numbers) will be accepted in train station?

Sorry for my silly question. Reply to this

Hello Dan 😊

As far as I have heard the online booking system for India is pretty reliable, so I think they will accept the ticket at the station.

Not everybody gets a seat on the train. It is wise to try to confirm one though, when buying tickets, because standing would get pretty tiring.

The first class of the train is generally not too crowded though, so there will likely be some free seats. Are you sure !A is not your seat number. It looks like one.

Hello Dan,
As you booked for a first class and statuss says CNF (confirm) means u will get a seat.
All Sleeper/3Tier and 2 tier AC journeys are reserved and have seat numbers allocated.
Before 4 hourrs of departurn of train chart is prepared and seat numbers are allocated.
You can find the same on platform from which your train will start on station on Reservation chat.

You have refer it with you Travelling class and PNR number which is on your ticket.
Hope this will help ................... still any confusion let me know ..... :-) Reply to this
