Honeymoon Trip to Indonesia

Looking for suggestions on how to spend 6-7 day in Indonesia. How to plan such that we can explore Lombook or Medan. Which side is better to stay in Bali. We are thinking AYANA at Jimbaran or Hayatt at Nusa Dua or SANUR?

Dear fellow travelers,

I am trying to plan for our honeymoon. We are reaching at Kualampur in 2nd week of February.

Currently, we are planning to spend 3 days to Malasia to see KL, and Genting (any other better option for Honeymoon trip?)

Then we have close to 6-7 days for Indonesia. We are interested to explore more nature (beech, national park, lakes island) and other romantic destinations.

We are not sure how to plan our stay in Indonesia. How much time should be spend in Bali and can we see other places in Indonesia like Medan or Lombok (gili, komodo national park) in this time? and what should be the sequence and span for these places.

Please help me in this regard.

Also, Which side is better to stay in Bali. We are thinking AYANA at Jimbaran or Hayatt at Nusa Dua or SANUR

Thanks in advance,
Govind

Hi Govind..

1. Currently, we are planning to spend 3 days to Malasia to see KL, and Genting (any other better option for Honeymoon trip?)
--> you can explore langkawi island or Malaka in Malaysia. so nice island in Langkawi, nice beach and clean. Malaka is nice town.

2. how much time to spend in Bali or other places in Indonesia..?
--> Indonesia is big country and we have more interesting place to explore. Bali is populer destination in Indonesia. but if you like nature, you can explore Lombok (Gili island best for honeymoon) or Flores island, or national park Ujung Kulon and Komodo island in Nusa tenggara.

enjoy your honeymoon..

greetings
hans

Dear Hans,

thanks for your reply. How long does it take to see Gili and can we stay at Bali and go to Gili? and same for Komodo National park. We have around 6 days at Bali. How you suggest we should utilize that.

thanks,
Govind

better you stay in Lombok. you can stay in Bali 3 days and than continue to Lombok island. from Lombok you go to Komodo island or just explore gili island. from Bali many travel agent to arrange trips Gili directly or Komodo.

thanks

Thanks. would you suggest any travel agent who could give good service? I think it may be better if we do before we land there to aviod any last minute surprise.?

So the Plan could be,

I stay at Bali for 3 days. Go to (Mataram/?) Lombok and explore Gili, Komodo and come back to bali for my flight back to KL? or reverse if there are flights from KL to Lombok that we can take? Reply to this

I stayed at the Intercontinental in Jimbaran a few years ago and it was stunning - probably my favourite resort. But from what I've heard, anything around Jimbaran is going to be more than acceptable for a honeymoon. Reply to this

yes better you book before arrive in Bali.

Thanks
my email is . Please send me the list I could get in touch with them to understand what options can be explored.

I have been thinking that may be we could spend 4 days at Bali and 2 days at Gili Island. What do you think? and any recommendation on Gili Hotels? My budget is around 75-100$ per night.

Thanks,
Govind
