I cant believe that over 1000 people have read one of my blog listings.
I did not think I would ever have so many hits on a single blog, but I just checked my stats and one of my blogs has already passed 1000 and it is not really that old.

It's not uncommon - TB's good rating in Google search results often helps the blog entries appear on the first page.

It is not too uncommon, but at the same time it is a sign that there is something special about that particular blog. Only a couple of mine have had over 1000 hits.
I dont know what exactly makes people curious about particular blogs, and not others. I personally think my one about Kyrgyzstan should be attracting a lot of attention, but it isnt.
The ones that are attracting the attention are.

I am not surprised that the one about Iran is attracting a lot of hits, because Iran is so often in the news. The one about India has lots of photos of me and my family, so I suppose anyone who wants to see who it is they are chatting with on the internet would look at that one.

Reply to this I'm not so surprised with the amount of views.............i think what you write about is unique compared to the travels of others.........i really enjoyed the Titanic contest you did the previous year, something i never knew existed.....such quirky events always appeal. I can't believe one of our blogs has had that many views but if any of our blogs were going to get to 1000 I'm not shocked that it is this one
I have never been so nervous in my life!!!
For some reason it always has the most views for us every month.
I think we should take a trip to celebrate.......and then write a blog about it lol.
