Saw an offer and am not sure if it is legit.
While on Facebook the other day, I saw a company named Global Crossroad that stated "Only 5 days left until we give away a 2-week volunteer trip! Tell us what inspires you to volunteer for your chance to go to either Nepal, Thailand, India, Sri Lanka, Guatemala, Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana and Uganda!". On their Facebook page, there was a lot of people who had commented in response. My question is, do you think it is a legit offer? I've read good and bad about the company, but would really like a free trip! haha
I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but is there anyway I can get harmed from becoming a fan and posting on their wall? It seems to good to be true! All help is greatly appreciated.
Reply to this If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!! Is there any small print you can read? They may specify nominal charges and this will be your first red warning sign!
