Ha. Thanks, Mell. My nerdy pie-chart gets some laughs, but I hope it's useful.
I've been contacted by a bunch of people asking for further data on this. Also submitted my data to a new website out there that helps people estimate costs for things in various cities/countries - but I won't post it because I don't think we're supposed to link to other sites. Anyone can PM me if they're interested though.

There is one for specific continents lists at the top of continent forums and this one in the General forum for a general travel information blog list.
This one lists the general travel information blogs, while the other one is to give suggestions for all the lists(well, that is what it was intended for anyway. Sometimes people post non specific suggestions in the threads which were intended more for specific lists).

Reply to this This thread is getting a bit chaotic. Even I can no longer remember or even understand how it was going to be organised, except it is for making a general collection of useful blogs.
Anyway, here is the latest one I found.

Reply to this Food and Travel have a very close bond. Some would say they are like movies and popcorn, ice cream and cone; one can be had without the other, but where's the fun in that?
The sonorous forts, palaces; dazzling deserts; sun kissed beaches; penetrating forests and their rare species and of course who can overlook the Indian delicacies; all these make India a haven for tourists. Sufficient accommodations and initiatives on the part of the union and state governments have made travelling in Indian sub-continent more convenient.
