pursat in in central cambodia worth goin to?

hi im travelling alone and im heading up north to siem reap but cant decide to stop in pursat?

is it worth going to im wanting to do the floating village in kompong chnang but some one told me i can do the floating village in siem reap is this true? and is it the same?

im not sure to skip it and head to battambang if the floating village is the same sorta thing in siem reap

suggestions??
