Planning a travel to Cambodia for 3/N- 4 d- any suggestions for stay/sight seeing tours etc.

Am looking for some interesting insights into travelling to Cambodia to see Angkor Wat, for 3 N and 4 days, this will be around 12th of June 2010, so if any one is travelling around the same time, yeah even that will be interesting, but overall, I am looking for some travel advice about the accomodations/sight seeing tours etc.

Thanks
Chetan

most tourst are easily set up through your guesthouse, they can arrange for tours into and around the temples. you need to buy a pass to get into the temples, but they set it up for you, all you do is pay and have a pictures taken (from what I remember).

as far as guesthouses go, I bused in from Bangkok last time and they took us straight to a guesthouse. not my first choice of a way to find a place but it was clean and good. If you aren't arriving into the city this way just check out a few websites like lonely planet or rough guides. Both sites should be able to help with finding a place to stay! Reply to this

You can easily hire a tuk tuk driver to take you to the temples for a really great price. They can be arranged through your guest house or by just bargaining on the street. Once you get to the complex you will have to buy your entrance ticket. Most drivers will have great suggestions of which temples to see, but if you want to go to certain ones make sure your driver knows. We had our tuk tuk from sunrise to sunset. Long day- but very affordable and our driver even gave us information about the temples. Reply to this
