just wondering we want to go to hanoi , sapa , halong and hoi an, then phu quoc island, we are going to spend more time in hoi an and phu quoc island for swimming relaxing etc , i was thinking nov would be the best time for the latter part of our holiday ,any ideas appreciated

November is going into winter in the North of Vietnam - so Sapa is likely to be cold and Hanoi and Halong could be overcast. However, it's a good climate for exploring cities and walking etc. as it's not as humid as the summer.
Check out when typhoon season finishes in Hoi An. Typhoon Ketsana (the one that caused all the damage in the Phillippines) hit the central region of Vietnam pretty hard last year. It was a bit earlier than November though, so maybe it's stopped by then. Just something to look into.
Phu Quoc should be hot enough for relaxing though, but not too hot!
Hope this helps.

Reply to this Hi, the weather in Nov in Vietnam is great. Cool winds and gentle rains will combine together, creating comfortable feels, especially when you wander off along the beach or coastal street. Sapa in Nov is cold and I think you will like eating fried eggs to warm up your boddy there!. Have good trip planning!
