My Wife and I are due to leave the UK on the 26.04.10, we were going to Bangkok, then Penang and finally to Singapore. Unfortunately because of the issues in Bangkok our travel agent has informed us that it is unlikely that were will be going to Bangkok, so we may try Hong Kong instead, I was wondering if it is easy to get around Hong Kong, are there many temples and markets and also is there plenty of opportunities to sample street food.

Reply to this If you were interested in Thailand, you might be able to find a flight straight to Phuket and travel from there?
Reply to this Hong Kong is a big international city. The transportation in Hong Kong is very convenient from east to west and from south to north. Certainly, it is easy for you to go around Hong Kong by your own. There are many tour sites.
But if you would like to travel in Hong Kong, it is better for you to take SIC tour, which is comfortable and economical. And the guide can show you the shopping market and delicious street food.
Reply to this It's very easy to get around Hong Kong... there's more temples and markets than you'll be able to see in one trip ... I suggest you make time to go see the Tian Tan Buddha on Lantau Island (take the cable car.. great views) and check out the Temple Street market. Have a great trip! :-)
Reply to this It is really convenient to travel in Hong kong! Just make sure you know something more about Hong Kong, so you can enjoy an awesome trip! Before travel, I usually will look this up, it really helps.
