What are the best things to do ?

Thinking of Beijing, Shanghai and Xi\'an for China, and Agra, Delhi and Kolkata for India.

Its part of a RTW trip and this will be the last continent we visit, finishing in Thailand.

Any general information will be great with things to do and see etc, ive got the basic travel info i need to get from each place to the other.

Would also be interested in what budget we will need in these places. We are backpacking, and as cheap as possible would be best, just need to know what to budget, and prices of stuff.

If you have the time when you are in Xian take the bus to the Hua shan mountain - amazing. You can do it as a day trip. Takes a couple of hours to get there and only the bus ride through the loess landscape is worth it. The mountain is spectacular, you can get to the north peak by cable car or climb it on foot. Be aware that it is a demanding hike though. Reply to this
