Can someone please let me in on the details of why so many people are wearing the yellow shirt with the logo on it, at least in southern Thailand? I am so curious. Reply to this

It's because it's the King's 60 b'day and the King was born on a Monday and the color for Monday is yellow.

Check this out for all the various days and colors http://www.id90.com/Thailand%20city%20review/Thailand_weekdays.htm Reply to this

The King of Thailand has reigned Thailand for 60 years. To pay respect to the King, the people in Thailand wear the yellow shirts because the King was born on a Monday (as Emilyk said, the color for Monday is yellow). However, it is NOT because it is the King's 60th birthday. The King is much older than 60. (He was born in 1927).
