How many places are closed during Dec-Jan?
14 years ago, January 20th 2010 No: 1 Msg: #100550
Hey all beloved travelers!
My girlfriend and I are visiting Singapore and Malaysia in the coming 2 weeks, and were planning a dive-trip which seemed impossible due to monsoon season.

The important question now is: Which regions and main tourist attractions will be closed/inaccesible during the last week of january? E.g. Cameron Highlands?

We have 10 days in total, and any specific recommendations for this period is of course welcome 😉

Cheers! // Rune and Nanda Reply to this

The thing with the monsoons is it could be horrible today and then you can get 2 weeks of cool dry weather .
bbc weather, weather.com and http://www.wunderground.com/ If you use those 3 you can see out a few days and make plans.

I doubt anything would be closed.

Cambodia, north half Thailand, and Vietnam, January is the best time of the year Reply to this
