Hello there,
Is there any reason why you have chosen Phi Phi?

It once used to be an idyllic place, but with the way it has been built up now, its not so nice.

I personally think you would find nicer places either Koh Lanta which is the other side of Phi Phi or up in a place like Bang Tao in Phuket. Although Phuket is developed, you still have some of the best beaches in the world situated here and that if something did happen - you do have 2 great hospitals.

Stephen, I admit, I would tend to agree with Scott. Since the reconstruction, the "downtown" Phi Phi is really an ugly place....not at all my idea of an honeymoon.

On Phi Phi, there is one "top" place, Zeavola....but I think it will be over you budget.

I would agree with Koh Lanta, and add also Khao Lak. We went to Khao Lak few months ago and were pretty well surprised.

Hope this help,
