Hi,

Kathmandu is only around 1800 meters max, so you do not need them there for sure. I think Pokhara is the same. But if you start trekking, it's something else.

To compare, Cusco is at around 3000 meters....another story!

Hope this hellp,

Peter

Dear kgirl
My advice is ….Kathmandu is lies 1300m from sea level we have not any result here is altitude sickness in Kathmandu, All so Pokhara lies 800m from sea level so in pokhara no way to altitude sickness, but if you want to trekking in Nepal’s mountain region off course you need same mediation for your health which is you need, Altitude sickness have not any mediation exactly,
Altitude sickness symptom will come above 3500m from sea level so if your aims to go above this altitude then ……
Bay the way Thank you very much for making plan for visiting our lands and I hope you will enjoyed with our panoramic view.
I hope it will help to you.
