Bali in December (Xmas and New Year)? Are there flights from Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh) to Bali?
14 years ago, October 9th 2009 No: 1 Msg: #88917
I'm looking to travel to Vietnam in early December and head South from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh then go over to Bali for a couple of weeks to cover the Xams and New Year period.
Does anyone have any good information on flights between Ho Chi Minh and Bali?
What will the weather be like in Bali at Xmas? Has anyone been there for Xmas and what was it like?
Thanks.

Hi,

The have flights on Lion Air, not the most reputable airline. If you look for cheap you can go through Jakarta or KL on Airasia.

Have you considered that Christmas in Bali is the rainy seasons, not the best at all for that place.

Hi,

There is no direct flights from Hanoi or Ho CHi Minh city to Bali. You have to take flight to Kualumpur and then an other flight to Bali. Otherwise, you can stop in Bankok and fly to Bali from there. I think Xmas was quite good last year when I was there. It was wonderful to enjoy the Xmas and NYear in Bali.

Do you have any information about Vietnam travel? I just suggest you some real places to be during your short holiday in this country. Arrival Hanoi, stay here 2 days then head to Halong Bay for 2days Cruising, spend 3 days in Hoi An. It is an amazing place. It attracts tourists thanks to its poetic and picturesque landscapes such as Thuan Tinh islet, Cua Dai beach,Cham island. Also, the small ancient town still preserve its original architectures, including houses, temples, pogodas, streets, ports, civil buildings, religious structures and other non-religious worshipping structures. The every day lifestyle with deep-rooted customs and cultural activities is fascinating. It would give you a complete feeling of Vietnam than other places.
Nha Trang is an other destination for you . This beach city offers kinds of ocean activities such as: Diving, snorkeling, scubing and of course cruising.
The next place would be Sai Gon and Mekong delta. If you have more time you can check out Puhu Quoc island which is sensational.

Hope this helps! Reply to this
