Tucan Travel vs Oasis Tours

HELP does anyone have any experience with either of these companies?

Ok so I am doing the Santiago to Rio route with one of these companies, but which one should I go for? Oasis is marginally cheaper AND it adds Uraguay, whereas with Tucan it is only Chile, Argentina and Brazil. Does anyone have any experience with these companies? Want to know which is better quality etc. Reply to this

Hi Travel Dani

I actually work for Tucan Travel and have been on our overland tours. Biased? of course I am but I can tell you some facts about us.

We have 23 years experience in Latin America
Our trucks are exceptional Mecedes Benz full of good kit like fridges, sliding glass windows and through windows from the back to the drivers cab. Built by Mercedes Benz to our design. Very important if you are spending any length of time travelling the roads of Latin America!
Experienced drivers and tour leaders
More info here

For me the important thing when travelling is finding value for money in the experience you are paying for this is not always the cheapest but it's the memories that count.

Please contact us with any questions you have and speak with me or someone here that has travelled and is expert on that part of the world. We may be biased through our passion but we will be completely honest with you.

Hope this helps
Spencer
