Nominate bloggers who have never had a blog on the Front Page and have fewer than 5 recommends.
I nominate
Ben Giles, who is studying in China for a year. He doesn't mind roughing it and getting his hands dirty, when he travels. 😊
Reply to this I'd like to nominate Willow (Wendy Smyth). She's got a great balance between personal stories and place descriptions, plus fantastic photos. Her blogs guided and inspired me as I was prepping for my trip. She stopped blogging/traveling just a short time ago this year, but I hope you'll still consider her.
Reply to this Mel,
Sometimes you make a list of all the bloggers that have been nominated and not made it to blogger of the week yet. Any chance you might have time to do that again. It certainly makes it easy to review. There seem to be some very talented bloggers out there.

Reply to this Jo Trouble so very kindly made up a list earlier, and yes I agree there ought to be a "running list" updated every so often so we are all able to review those who didn't make it earlier before nominating new ones. Some of those listed here already made it as Blogger of the Week.

Updated list of current Blogger of the Week nominations;
Note: the list is in no particular order, and you are quite welcome to nominate other TB bloggers

There's a big world out there, and I'm just a small man in the middle of it. I'm crossing Europe on a Vespa, and writing at least one book.
As a journalist and ethnomusicologist, I'm digging up all the music I can find along the way, and looking for a way to bring it to YOU.
I'm traveling with help from a hospitality association called SERVAS. Look it up; it might work for you too.
I love the idea of Brennan traveling on a Vespa.
I would like to nominate Dolemitesprint. He has a humorous writing style!

Liliram has done it for you now. Thanks Liliram. 😊

I love her blogs too, and she is on my list of recommends. She doesnt however qualify to be nominated as Blogger of the Week. The bloggers of the week are relatively unknown but good bloggers, who have fewer than 4 recommends. It is a way to bring attention to them, because there are so many good bloggers who get lost in the crowd, because TravelBlog has become so big. 😊

Satyir
The blogs of an anthropology PhD student on the road, should be well worth reading. He hasn't displayed any photos on his blogs yet, but his wife with whom he is travelling is a photographer, so there should be some good ones some time. 😊

An artist and very new blogger, but already posting lovely sketches of scenes of his travels.

Around the world with
Chris and Patty Chris and Patty. Wow-- some great photos! They are having fun and some nice writing!
Another great candidate for blogger of the week.

kifandpeter - a well travelled duo who have almost covered every continent. It is a pity that they seem to have lost their camera though.
There are sometimes bloggers who post blogs with photos on their travels, and then suddenly start posting blogs without photos. I often wonder what the story behind it is. Got bored with taking photos, got mugged and camera stolen, left camera on train...
Reply to this I second
Onceinalifetime
A definate candidate if he starts travelling again. The bloggers of the week are choosen from those who are currently travelling, or will travel again in the near future. Anyone know if Onceinalifetime will be on the road again soon?

Eric and Zoe
A cheerful couple who have thrown caution to the wind, for the sake of travel. They have well and truely exited the rat race, as so many dream of doing. 😊
