Reply to this The South will be warm. The North will be cold. Your best bet would be the beaches around Nha Trang and Mui Ne. The weather should be ok there.
Reply to this thank you very much just made my wife happy,im sure we will enjoy ourselfs any tips on getting from one place to another, and any saftey issues? Have a safe trip and good time thanks again.
Reply to this Getting from one place to another? Well you have the obvious selection of transport options. If you don't have long, consider flying the long distances, check out jetstar asia for budget flights within Vietnam. Otherwise it's bus or train. It's nice to travel by sleeper train overnight for the long distances in Vietnam. You can travel by sleeper bus too, but they aren't so comfy as the train.
Reply to this Hi silentchat,
If you want, you can take a train. It takes you about 24-27 hours. I'm not quite sure, but I have heard a lot people taking train to travel from North to South, and they really enjoyed it.
Reply to this Hi,
You travel to Vietnam in Dec, you will have two choices : hot in the South and Cold in the North. If you like beach you can visit Mui Ne, Phan Thiet, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc. If you like colder place, you can view Sapa, Hanoi, Ha Giang, Cao Bang,...
I think you should make you plant right now!
Have fun!
Reply to this Nha trang has lots of good cheap hotels. Night train is cool way to travel get 1st class sleeper.
Dec is the best time to to travel in South East Asia.
Reply to this From to Sai gon you can come to Nha Trang beach, it' not cold so much. From Ha Noi you can see Ha Long bay and sleeping on the boat, it's so nice. I can show you how.
