Would like to be near Haad Rin Beach (nightlife) or atleast within walking distance (stumbling distance) to and from city centre...does anyone know any beaches (backpacked accom) close-by?? preferably on beach?? ta! x

If you are going to be in Koh Pha Ngan during a full moon party, I recommend that you dont stay near Haad Rin. The accomodation often gets broken into and robbed during those parties. And there is generally transport to the parties from the other parts of the island anyway.

Reply to this I will leave that to somebody else to answer Amelia. I stayed in the north of the island while I was there so am not familiar with the guesthouses near Haad Rin.
