I'm planning to go to Malaysia (probably just the penisula) for the last week in October and first week in November, but it seems to be the time when seasons change - where do I go?
I'm looking at flying in to KL in October and spending 3 nights there, then where? I was thinking Langkwai, Cameron Highlands or Taman Negara, but I'd also love to go Perhentian islands, but I'm really worried the weather then.
I seem to be going when the seasons change so need some useful advice about weather as the info availble on the web seems quite vague.
Reply to this Hello loub;
Dont let the rain stop you from enjoying your trip. Rainy season it dosent mean it will gonna rain everyday, and even if it will rain, it will not rain for the whole day. it will gonna be a heavey rain for like 1 hour maybe and that's it.
Anyway, 2 weeks in West Malaysia is not bad at all, the places you have mentioned are lovely and 100%!y(MISSING)ou will enjoy it, but i would suggest you the east cost instead of Langkawi; Perhantian islands, Redang, and Tioman. Anyone of these will be beatiful to visit. For me Redang was the best, as it's quite and less touristic.
Taman Negara should be a lovely place, You should not skip it at all as it's one of the oldest rainforest around the world. Cameron highlands is a very relaxed place and the weather is lovely. I think 3 nights will be good to refresh your self.
** Langkwai is a big island with more activites then the other islands in the east cost. The east cost islands you will have only your guest house, beach, and the beautiful crystal water to swim in.
** KL, Island, and Cameron HL; 3 nights are enough for each. Taman Negara I have no idea, but i think it will be enough. That's your 2 weeks is done.
Have a good trip.
Reply to this Thanks Ray - I think will take you up your advice and not worry about whether it will rain or not.
