Desperate for some advice...
Travelling to China to see the solar eclipse in Shanghai on July 22. Have to view it in Shanghai as this coincides with our itinerary for our Intrepid Basix tour.... Am seeking advice from people who could suggest a good spot to view it and be able to take photos without dodging a thousand chinese heads.
The sun will be eclipsed in the background of The Bund (Oriental Pearl Tower, etc.).....Would love to have a good vantage point which doesnt feel like being in a sardines tin.....Any suggestions?
CHEERS IN ADVANCE 8^)
Reply to this Any of the top terrace on the Bund. You've got New Height restaurant at 3 on the bund, M on the Bund..this is on 5th on the Bund, don't think Bar Rouge will be open on 18th on the Bund, but the restaurant on the 5th floor will be open, Mr & Mrs Bund, 18th of the Bund...next, you have the terrace of Mint, Fuzhou lu, next to Henan lu, they are opne for lunch, try to get access to the terrace.
Hope this help...from Shanghai,
Peter
