Hi,
I will be reaching Jakarta at midnight (that the only flight available). Is it safe to roam around looking for accomodation at that hour? Is it ok to get to Jaksa from the airport and look for rooms at 1 in the morning? I will be travelling alone. Or should I book something beforehand? I am leaving the next evening for Bali (by train).

Reply to this I think it can not be said really secured, because you have not booked the hotel. you should book a hotel before arriving to Jakarta, because you can ask the hotel to pick you up.
