Hi,
We'll be spending about a week on Tioman mid-late August. Looking for mid-range accomodation, pref hot shower! Looking for a relaxed time, doesn't have to be party-city but some nice bars/restaurants would be nice! Can anyone give some ideas about which bits of the island we should aim for and any decent accomodation?

Tioman Island, as I personally do find it useful. Though I've not been there just yet, I normally rely also on visiting Malaysia Ministry of Tourism site for detailed information, if not through word of mouth from friends.

Reply to this Hey guys, thanks for your comments - I have seen the Tioman Island and ToT sites and theyre good, but, they tend to make evrywhere sound good rather than being a bit more objective.
Does anyone have 1st hand or word of mouth recommendations for Tioman?
