I have heard the weather is terrible in Thailand at the moment. I am going to the Tao on Tuesday and concerned it will only rain. I was there this time back in 06 and the weather was fantastic.
Some reassure me please someone,,,, anyone?

I was in Thailand during the rainy season a couple of years ago. It wasnt all that bad. A few hours per day of rain around ever second day with lots of warm sunny hours. No problem at all. There was the occasional day where it rained all day, but that really was occasional.
One problem though, when the seas are too rough the boats dont go, so you may not be able to get to the islands or may not be able to get off them exactly when you want.
