When travelling up through Asia from Singapore, what would be the best way to get visas for Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos and China? Should I get any of these before I leave England? The China one would be for 3 months. Reply to this

you can make your visa to some countries in their Embassies in your country. You can check this in a travel agency in your country for which visa you can make before you leave, I think they know that. I suggest and I know, you can make vietnam visa in Vietnam Embassy in England. And I know it's possible to make visa china 3months.
You can make visa in a country for next country you go.

I would recommend checking with each countries embassy website because their rules for visitors are different for each nationality. I know that the US and the UK share many of the same options when it comes to visas in several countries but I wouldn't want to tell you not to worry about it in one country to find out that the difference between the US and UK was relevant there.

For us coming from the US, we did not need a visa in advance for Cambodia or Thailand (you pay for the Cambodia one when you enter the country and the Thailand one is free when you enter the country), but we did need them in advance for Vietnam. We also needed an advanced visa for China. We tended to fly into Thailand and apply for visas from there but that might not work for everyone.

Also keep in mind that there are exiting fees in many of these countries so make sure you have enough money on your way out to pay them (usually in their own currency with perhaps the exception of Cambodia). Reply to this
