Getting a visa in Hong Kong to allow you to travel into China

Has anyone organised a visa and trip into China whilst staying in Hong Kong? If so how easy was it to do and how timeconsuming? It seems quite normal and easy when reading the travel books!
I am travelling from UK, meeting up with my daughter who is travelling fro Australia.
Any advice on economical accomodation suitable for all ages. Reply to this

I thing it is very easy to get a tourist visa for china in Hong Kong. Do a little research. There should be a number of agencies that can get you the Visa once your in Hong Kong. Or you could go to the Chinese Embassy where you live and get one. I don't think it is a problem. I live in Beijing and visa's are quite easy to get. Reply to this

Hi,

I've been doing visa issue for so long. Well, i think most of foreigners dont have acquire visa to go to Hong Kong. But that dpends on your nationality. You could consult the China embassy in the country where you live. Reply to this
