Where and what should be avoided for those with food allergies? Do you have food allergies? If so, please give your tips about travelling with food allergies.

i travel with someone who has alot of food allergies. specifically he is deathly allergic to ALL fish, ALL nuts, and sesame seeds (tahini included obviously).

what are places we have to avoid? Weve so far traveled to places where nuts and sesame arent staples in all sauces and dishes, but we want to go to asia and africa...

Hello Annie 😊

I dont have any food allergies as far as I know but I do have some special requirements being a vegetarian. What I do is make sure I have some things in my bag all the time to eat, for when there is nothing I would eat available where I am travelling.

Also, buying something in a shop rather than eating in a restaurant can be an option.
