I need advice about going from koh pagnan to malaysia, Khota Bharu. Is it possible to make it in 1 day?
What time is the first ferry in the morning from Koh Pagnan and from where and how to i continue from mainland, bus or train? Which one is faster and if get to the border of malaysia on the same day?
I want to go to the full moon party on koh pagnan which is 9 or 10 of february, but my 15 DAYS visa is until 11. feb, so straight after the party i must rush out of thailand and my plan goes to malaysia. i also heard that is quite dangerous around Hat Yai, is it ok to travel through this area by bus or train? Maybe there is boat connection available also?

If you are getting your visa by passing through the (land) immigration check point with Malaysia why not stay in Malaysia a few days longer and then go to Thailand. This way you will have more time at the end of your visit to find your way off Koh Phangan. Unless you have a different type visa with fixed start dates.
Many tourists who are eligible for the free 30 days with airport arrival only get 15 days when they arrive at a land immigration point but the clock doesn't start until your passport is stamped.
