Anyone know of a great budget location in Karon or Kata Beach area under 1000B?
Reply to this I've been getting a lot of my info from the Lonely Planet - SE Asia on a Shoestring guide. Looking quickly through my copy, Bazoom Hostel, Kata on the Sea, Lucky Guest House and Ann Guesthouse all offer rooms for around 300-400B. Not sure if you're looking for something quite that cheap though, but I hope that helps.
Reply to this I've been online looking at those guys as well (thx to the all knowing LP) but I want to have some back ups to LP as everyone knows about those ones and they can be sold out pretty quick.
We found that out when we where in Thailand last year. Of course, walk a block down and you'd find another 5 places to chose from.
