Look up a website called Ctrip. It's basically the Chinese version of Expedia and they often have good deals on there for flights and hotels. Reply to this

You can fly to Shenzhen and take the Airport Hong Kong bus. Check cheapest tickets on the Shenzhen local Airlines www.shenzhenair.com . Look at the timetable of bus to HK http://eng.szairport.com/catalog_494.aspx Reply to this

Taxes and fees are much more for Hong Kong than mainland China so flights cost more. As Kenboy says, the best thing to do is fly from Shanghai to Shenzhen and then take the bus/train into Hong Kong. We used the train which was really good and doesn't take long. Reply to this
