Flying into India

Which cities can I fly into for the cheapest airfares from Europe?

Is flying into Mumbai or Delhi always the cheapest when flying from Europe or are there other cities I can fly into with the cheapest flights?

I flew into Mumbai the first time I was in India. I am flying into Delhi this December. Hopefully, I will be getting another trip to India next March or April. I would like to fly into a different city next Spring if the price is the same.

I have no idea about prices and how they compare from city to city, but I know you can fly direct to Cochin (Kerala), Trivandrum (Kerala) and Bangalore, at least from England - not sure if you can from Germany but would imagine at least Bangalore and Trivandrum as they are both main hubs. You're well travelled so probably won't make much difference to you, but if you feel like arriving in India without it hitting you in the face quite so much, then I'd recommend arriving in Trivandrum - it's a small and relatively chilled out airport for India - and Kerala's a beautiful state to visit if you haven't been down there yet. 😊 Reply to this

Thanks Debbie 😊 I will add those to my list when I am searching. It will be really cool if I can fly into a different city from the ones I have already flown into. Reply to this

Cheapest would be Delhi...what Airlines?
Fin Air - with connection in Helesinki.
Qatar Airways from LON, FRA etc.
Emirates, BA, Air India, Jet, sometimes Al Italia,
From Istambul cheap airlines AirArabia.
If you wnat to save money, always fly to the biggest hubs (Asia - BKK, Shanghai,HK, Delhi, Singapure) and from there on overland or cheap local airlines. So Delhi in India would be a best shoot.

I suspected it might be like that. Reply to this
