Hey Robbie,

Would love to make it 2 years running :-) but unfortunately it won't be this year. Maybe we could start next year's xmas thread now....... ;-) Reply to this

I'll be making a batch of caramel slice this weekend, I'll post a photo or two here!

I sometimes bring a mini-slab of slice into work and share them around the office, and according to some of my female work colleagues, the caramel slice is worth the effort of a few hours of travel!

I can also make chocolate fudge on request ;-) Reply to this

Would like to say thanks again to Mike and Sarah for our Hong Kong meet-up. We had a great evening...and great pic. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year...and yes, it is a very small world!

As a final incentive for people to attend the Brisbane Christmas Party, pieces of chocolate caramel slices are on offer for attendees. Just imagine the smooth, rich taste of this yummy home-made caramel in your mouth - hmmmm....

However, there may not be much slice left after my parents finish with their share on Christmas Eve ;-) Reply to this

Not even the Caramel Slice could tempt people to Southbank this year.

Bobbie, you'll be glad to know that Caramel Slice is made on an irregular basis in my apartment (fighting with white or milk chocolate fudge as the dessert of choice), so if you are heading to the Brisbane CBD area at some stage - I'm sure there will be some available to give you as a belated Christmas dessert!

The Taj Mahal view is behind Bob and Vik, during daylight hours. See my new profile pic. 😊 I hope you two are having a good new year so far. 😊
