When I was living there I found either exotic or personal gifts the best. Something from your own country that isn't widely available or is very expensive in Vietnam. I gave away Australian honey and 6x8 photos of us, which seemed to be greatly appreciated. Reply to this

Hello Gwenda 😊

I havent been to Vietnam but as a parent I would say that educational toys are always welcome. Educational as in leggo, drawing and painting materials, chalk and chalk boards etc etc etc.

I moved this to the Asia forum. Maybe it will receive more replies there. 😊

My step family is from Vietnam. Everytime they travel back they bring hygeine products, some educational toys and some specialty food items from the Pacific NW.

Hi Gwenda!
Education toys or clothes for child are great ideal.
Vietnamese people like cooking at home to invite guests, they highly appreciate if you can cook some specialty food. ^^ or simply, you visit their home and try to taste some Vietnamese food. Reply to this
