yep thats right im doing a Wild Animal Rescue project with a company called "Work and Travel abroad" for 3 weeks in Ranong. Just wondering if anyone else is doing this coz it seems like im the only one at the moment and don't wanna do this all on my own. I also need to get a bus(coach ride) from Phuket airport to Ranong, is this far?? how do i know which stop im getting off at?? plz help!!

Reply to this I have worked on volunteer programs before. I have always received directions and a point of contact for any questions that I had. Send some emails out and get some additional information. In any event you can Google up some maps and other info on Ranong. Bottom link says 144 miles.

Ask for some additional information from this charity. Don't forget to change some money over to Thai baht at the airport. Get some small bills too, a 500 baht note may be too large for some taxi drivers or shops to cash.
