Hi,
This is the time for us to go back home after this beautiful trip in India. Still I have to stay few days more for in Delhi for my business meetings.
Four times I had been alone and traveling by my own. But this time I made my travel with my wife and children’s.
It was kind of organized trip and sometime if you are traveling with your family it is better not to waste time just to waiting for buses and trains, some time it is really complicated to travel by local transport most of the time they are not on time.
I crossed all the Rajasthan (second time). It was kind of off-beat track also little bit.
My route was :-
Day 1 – Delhi just for one night.
Day 2,3– mandava and shekhawati area for two nights.
Day 4 – bikaner for one night
Day 5 – khimsar fort just for one night
Day 6,7,8 – jaisalmer for three nights, we spend one night in the desert with camel safari.
Day 9 – jodhpur for one night
Day 10 – ranakpur jain temples – one night
Day 11 – udaipur for one night
Day 12 rawla khempur one night ( we enjoyed horse safari)
Day 13, 14 pushkar for two nights.
Day 15 bundi just for one night ( still non touristy place)
Day 16, 17 – Ranthambhore national park for two nights ( we did four safari in the jungle and we have seen one time tiget)
Day 18, 19 – Jaipur for two nights
Day 20 – agra – one night is enough there.
Day 21 – Gwalior – for one night.
Day 22 – orchha it is very beautiful and very peaceful place.
Day 23 – khajuraho – kamasutra temples. Incredible work on stone.
Day 24 – we took flight from khajuraho to varanasi.
Day 24,25 – in Varanasi for two nights. Completely different place. I never have seen such a place. Completely different with very heavy atmosphere.
Day 26,27,28 – Delhi three nights just for my business meetings, otherwise it is too much to be in Delhi for three nights.
In most of the forums the business people put there own advertise with diffrent names, it was really horribel when I knew this.
Many small things we can only know when we travel to India. I got lot of good and bad experience from my this travel. I know still I have lot to tell many good and bad things and how to avoid, about this travel.
But it is not fare to write here or hurt someone by this announcement so it is better to mail me and I will let you know what you want.
If anyone really planning to travel to India just leave a message to me by charaswanu@yahoo.com I will try to answer you soon. We should help each other by our experience.
In most of the places we choose good, clean, typical Indian hotels mix with some luxury palace hotels to have just an experience only.
If you are going first time to India I know my experience and suggestion can help you lot.
Wishes.

hi
i'm plannig a 6 month long trip to india and nepal or rather nepal and north india*i'm especially interested in trekkings and avoiding big cities as well as visiting tribal areas of sikkim; living in february 2007; the route looks more or less like this: warsaw-delhi(1day)- kathmandu-2 trekkings probably the most popular ones so the base of everest and the south sanctuarium of annapurna(thought of hiring a giude and horses instead of taking an organised trip but it depends on a situation) - sikkim(khecheopalri lake to make it for the festival) - yukson - phedang - dzongri - yukson trek- fambong lho wildlife sanctuary-kyongosl alpine sanctuary - GUWAHATI- ASSAM REGION- west bengal- orissa - cchattisgarth - madhya pradesh and to the north to ladakh, zanskar , kashmir - want to stay there for about 2,5 months would apreciate advices and reccomendations of places on this route worth seeing but not very touristic

greetings
