Hello Nicholas 😊

Rather than choosing a particular airline, what about using a search engine which searches for good priced flights on a number of airlines.
The one I use is www.billigfluege.de
Click on the US flag to change it to English language. If you can search in a number of languages you may get better prices. I got the same flight cheaper when I searched in German then when I searched in English.

When you fly affects your price. Even the day of the week MAY affect your price. Some holidays on or near to holidays (like Christmas) could be very high compared to other months. If you are flexible for your departure dates you may get a better price. Stuck on a particular day you get what is available for that day!

What you can do for free information is visit a couple local travel agency and get some advice on airlines that depart your international airport. You will also get some rough prices. They may tell you the best time to fly from your country. The travel agency may have some special prices too.

Once you know the airlines that you can use you can pull up their websites and check every day for any price drops. Check a few days before you preferred departure date and check after your departure date to see if there is a price change.

Check often, sometimes after a plane crash or other international incident the cost of a flight may go lower. (Tourists become afraid and cancel flights. Seats become available at lower prices.)

You might also consider the time your flight lands overseas. Landing in the middle of the night means you pay for a full night in a hotel but only use it for half a night.

Good luck.

This is an old post! This guy is there and back by now unless he is walking!
