Hi all,

I am planning on going to India for 10 days in August and my "home base" will be Kolkata. What is the best/cheapest way to get to Kathmandu, Nepal from Kolkata? Also, what's the best/cheapest way to get to the Taj Mahal? Also, any suggestions for must-see things in and around Kolkata will be greatly appreciated.

hey when do you plan to come here...i have been planning to go to nepal via kolkata....you can catch a train to bihar from kolkata...from any city in northern bihar you would find buses going to kathmandu, nepal...send me the details of your itnenary...may be we can fix up something..if you are interested....this is beta from bangalore, India Reply to this
