Leaving Home ... again So after 4 brilliant months in Melbourne we're on the road again. We've said goodbye to all of our new friends and left our house in Albert Park. The first month in Melbourne was quite challenging, first of all looking for somewhere to live and then trying to find a job. We were lucky to find a 2 bedroom victorian terrace which we sublet from a girl called Kate who was going to South America for 3 months, she left us with the keys to the house and all of her personal possessions. Our focus then turned to job hunting which was difficult due to the fact that we wern't even being considered for positions by agents due to our short term holiday visas. G'day mate! As you have probably all realised we're now in the other land down under a.k.a. AUSTRALIA!!! woo hoo! We're coming up to half way now and we'vew been thinking about how different each leg of our travels have been. starting off with relaxing Abu Dhabi , spending quality time with the fam. Then Thailand, it seems like ages ago that two little girls arrived in BK airport with backpacks bigger than themselves and made their way to the hotel being offered a tuk tuk every 2 secs. We spend a month living like kings on the various islands of Thailand and the bank accounts came out hardly even dented!Next stop was NZ, where we spent a month buzzing on adrenilin, pushing our bodies, minds and bank accounts to their limits, having so many once-in-a-lifetime ... read more

Day 335 (25.2.08) to Day 341 (2.3.08) Having woken early with a spot of the flu, Chrissie took the day off on Monday to recover. Tiana and Ash came over for dinner to say hi which was both great to see them but also helped Chrissie to feel better in the evening. This week we were in ‘kindy’ at work, all of the new training group were out on the floor and making calls but we were all grouped together and being babysat by our team leader in case we got stuck! It took until Wednesday but in the morning we both made our first sales within two hours of each other - it was good to be off the mark.
