Well, I'm sitting in a computer lab now because my class was postponed an hour and noooooobody thought to tell the Carly. I had a rather brilliant idea for my next assignment in my video games class. We have to do a storyboard for a level as well as give lots of sketches and design ideas for characters, levels, screen layout...etc... Well, I can draw the other stuff ok, but I'm absolute suck at drawing people. I can't do faces :( SO! I had a brilliant stroke of brilliance! When I was at my friend Sam's house (who also helped me out a great deal with the writing of the game itself, couldn't've done it without ya mate ::huggles::) he let me make a SIMs family. ........ "this tastes funny".........HAHAHAHA..i know, hillarious :) lol. Hello Everybody!!! I have added some more grrrreat pictures up on my MSN my space...so Look at them! Things here have been....alright. I like the kids a lot - and the staff....having some issues with , anna...the roomie...but there is only 5 weeks to go before I am travelling. Time has flown by...it has gone by faster than I thought. Today I did the 'Flying Fox'...which is the Zip Line. OMG...if you know me, you know that I'm really scared of hights. This Zip Line is over the Aussie bush...and to get started you have to walk or run down this ramp until you fall. I ran really fast, then lifted my feet up so I was upside down. Hey everyone....well, its May. I feel like I have only been here for a month, time goes by sooo fast. I went camping for two nights in the bush with the girls. That was really fun, the kids are great. Then I went camping another night with a group of 15 boys and girls. That was really great, the kids are usually good...out of Anna and I, I am the "strict" one...haha. This experience, being a teacher and having to deal with 15 year old kids has been awesome. I really hated teaching the first week, mainly because I didnt know the kids and was having a hard time learning how to teach 15 year olds when Im only 19. Tomorrow I am off for 3 days, camping and hiking....sounds like it should be fun, hopefully the kids will be good. man, I sound old. Hey everyone! Soo, my two days of birthdays is over...im 19...crazy thought. Awww it was sooo nice to get emails and messages from everyone about my bday! I miss home like crazy now...but its really fun here. Im going camping in the aussie bush in 3 days (from wednesday - Friday)..should be fun...hopefully I dont find any snakes. Wow, so my utterly fantastic, once-in-a-lifetime trip… was severely disappointing. I saw a lot of cool stuff, but so much bad happened it is pushing ridiculous. Let me start at the beginning… I arrive in Sydney and got a little lost while looking for my hotel. Well, that was fine. I made it to my place and was in for a pleasant surprise. I thought that I was going to a hostel and it turned out to be a hotel! Which was nice because of the beds and accommodations was really nice but I was kind of looking forward to making some friends to hang out with while I was there. Hello everyone :) Today's been pretty good- I have to work all day though :( But, I got a bday cake from Valda and Bill (cute people) and the fam sent me beautiful flowers and a balloon...Thanks for the birthday wishes emma :) I feel like your birthday was in april ? Hello everyone! Hope everyone had a great easter. I spent from Thursday till Monday at the Sunshine Coast at Noosa Beach. It was great :) I got a nice tan....but we didnt get Anna's digital camera back in time for the weekend, so we don't have any digital pics to show anyone :( It was a pretty good easter though, weird not being with family....anyways..kids got here and its all good so far. When I arrived in Toowoomba on Thursday the 29th somehow I had it in my head that I had until Tuesday, which for some reason I thought was the second, until I left for Singapore where I am now (Monday) but more about that later. I only got the chance to have a fleeting visit with the family again but luckily I got to see everyone, go to a Rodeo, play a round of golf (well 9 holes anyway) and organise what I was going to do about getting to Indonesia despite the little mishap at the end. I saw the Rodeo at the Toowoomba town fair that we all (Me, Carol, John, Nick and Tom) went down to one afternoon and evening. Its Sunday, April 2nd...crazy - already April! Which means that I'm almost 19! Wtf mate...I'm getting old. Sooo, this weekend Anna and I stayed in the Nest cause we have to work...I'm pretty bored right now - well, not so much bored...just really relaxed because there is nothing to do but lay in the sun :) Anna and I went to Brisbane on Tuesday to Wednesday. It was nice :) We stayed with a gap person called Lucy..shes about 22, lives in Brisbane and goes to University of Queensland. We went to check out the University...its pretty big, it was cool to see. But - they try and make all of the buildings look old, yet they are only about 40 years old. Crazy Australians.
