So Good news... We thought it might never happen but Mummy and I are in Sydney!! It was rather a long plane ride, and actually mummy says its the biggest plane ride of all because Australia is the other side of the whole world so is the farthest you can go. Wait til I tell my friends that! We went on the plane for 13 hours to Singapore, and I had quite a big sleep, then we got off for just half an hour (3 peppa pigs), and got on it again! For 8 hours! Airports are generally good because there are lots of escalators, and planes aren't so bad because you get lots of food and snacks and a lady even gave me chocolate for breakfast (scoffed it before mummy noticed). I was mostly quite ... read more

Not really a romantic valentines day as we started the day standing in a queue to check in to the lan flight-took 90mins to check in-diaster! Boarded plane and had a stopover at Auckland for an hour! We then set off for 11 and a half hour flight to Santiago!plane was really comfortable and the food on the plane was amazing!!we were even given icecream for dessert! Arriving in Santiago after 22 hrs travelling and a time difference of 15 hrs behind (it was 14:00 on the 14th in Santiago) we were slightly confused and tired!got a taxi into the city and tried to get money out of the cash machines but unfortunately our bank cards wouldn't work! My friend Sue contacted me a couple of days ago saying she was heading into Sydney for the afternoon / evening to check out the Chinese New Year (CNY) festivities, and wondered if I wanted to join her. I took up that offer! We met each other on the platform of our local station and caught the train to Town Hall station. We made a slight detour to a camera shop so I could buy a new camera strap, and then we headed to Darling Harbour. We crossed Pyrmont Bridge and had lunch in the food court. It was so hot! I had noodles and an ice cream. Yum. We then headed towards Haymarket and came across the CNY festivities. It was still daylight so we got to see the paper lanterns in daylight. We decided ... read more

Geo: -33.8671, 151.207 Up very early, 3am, for a pickup at 5am. It was very good of Steve & Emily to drive us to the airport for an 8.30am flight. Thanks again Steve & Em for getting up so early on a Sunday & Valentines day also. Great trip in, no traffic so quick. Checkin was easy and quick, through immigration and security in 45mins. Now just couple hours wait for departure. A little late for take off and we're on our way. Good legroom and seating thanks to premium economy, very impressed with Cathay Pacific and a good flight, just over 9 hous to Hong Kong. Sitting in HK terminal writing this waiting for connecting flight to Delhi. Bit late leaving, 5.20pm, very cramped in economy but arrived Delhi 8.30pm. Cleared e.visa immigration and customs ... read more

Had to take a 45min bus journey to pick up the camper van but arrived safely with very heavy bags!!(bag is now bigger than me) The girl who checked us in and took our details had only started at the travellers Autobarn company a couple of weeks previously so thankfully she didn't inspect Ryan's driving license too closely (I also spoke to her ALOT to distract her slightly) and we were all set to start our journey after all the documents were filled out!our camper van seemed in good condition and mostly clean (got some bleach and cleaned everything properly when we got to the first camp site). A 2 hr journey saw us arrive at katoomba where we did a massive grocery shop!had lunch at Evans lookout which was a great viewpoint of the blue ... read more
