Day 1 in NY Many years ago, I was about twelve, I made a very gruelingly long road trip from my home in the Denver area to the urban utopia that is New York. Where I visited was not exactly the city zone that everyone knows about, it was actually in Buffalo, one of the many overlooked cities in these United States of America. As our motor vehicular travel brought us into Erie County my mother, who originated from this region, explained to me that I was going to see the first, of many, places she used to visit as a child.
