We left a little before 9AM to begin our trip. The weather was warm and muggy and there was a thick haze all over. Carrie started off driving and she was able to back out of the driveway, with a little help, and we were on our way. Jason spent the first 30 minutes or so locating all the squeaks, rattles, and knocks before settling down to hook-up the computer mapping software and the GPS. Didn’t take long to get it going, however, the software kept trying to route us onto back roads for the last 100 miles of travel for the day.
