Wayne and I have both been inundated work wise. He’s been up at 3.30am nearly every day, and I’ve had lots of different bits and pieces - conferences (including one at Homerton College Cambridge), training sessions, discussing funding bids with local authorities, and lots more besides. I lost my purse which did not help the chaos - bank cards cancelled, and new ones ordered, the postal strike was time to perfection holding the credit card up for ages!! At the weekends I have started to car shop, after initial perusals think I want a Chrysler PT Cruiser (Wayne also approves!). On Tuesday 16th I whizzed from the office home and then to the vet, Rosie (Wayne’s 15 year old cat) was very ill. The vet found a lump and was advising she be put down - ... read more

Since my last blog I have been busy with the usual mix of things - diving, work and stuff with Wayne. Last Thursday a group from work invaded the dive club for a try dive. It was very funny - Jan managed to snorkle, despite not liking anything in her mouth- the snorkle made her gag! I dived with Michelle who did really well, Chris dived with Jeff and showed off with somersaults, and Shelley dived with Wayne (who had forgotten his swim shorts so was comando under his wet suit and had to borrow my towel.) I think they all enjoyed themselves and everyone survived! Next work bonding is Salsa (i think). On Friday Wayne and I headed to London to celebrate his friends birthday. Everyone was v. friendly. We had drinks and dinner ... read more

Work has been very busy recently. I have done several workshops which meant lots of fun typing up post it notes in the office. Will the excitement ever end! I have comments from: Alresford, West Mersea, North Fambridge and helped out in Tiptree as well!! On top of that I had a meeting at Walton on the Naze (bonus free fish and chip lunch) helped at a conference facilitating a workshop all day, planned a series of events for later in the year, helped with the organisations project plan for the next year and had to comment on loads of grant applications made. The result ... a tired and somewhat grumpy Stella! ... read more

That's right! Shocking I know BUT... I am going travelling, so my blog maybe more appropriate to this sight for 10 days. I am off to Oman on Thursday for 10 days with my Mummy to sight see, chill out and dive. Here is a update before I leave: Work has been very busy - had lots of meetings and workshops which is not that great! Have been doing Dive training with Sandra on Thursday in the pool, and played with Mary in the pool on Sat. Keeping me in practice and out of trouble! Saturday night after diving Wayne, Jan and I went to Colchester, headed out to Escape and danced the night away. Saw Matt (only waved at him, didn't speak to him but he didn't speak to me either). Met a nice young ... read more

Tuesday I was at the doctors in the morning. Wednesday I was… at the doctors in the morning (had 2 injections at the same time ouch). Wednesday evening we had a dive club committee meeting, the shortest one yet! Brilliant. Less gossip, more stuff being done (well not really…) Workwise I was struggling to focus. Hard getting used to being at work after a break. Missed my afternoon naps! Thursday evening I had dinner at Wayne’s house - first time he’d cooked veggie. It was brilliant, and as a result I feel I should not shame myself by ever cooking for him!! Ahh well… Friday I had the day off, chilled out. Went shopping, then attempted to tidy my flat. Visited Sandra and Steve (dive friends - Steve has had an ankle operation and is going ... read more

Well apparently MICHELLE needs a blog update despite sitting in the same office as me! How strange! SO.... Thursday night was dive club again. I went to Sandra and Steve's for dinner first - had yummy scallops and a good chit chat! Shouted to much at Bob at the club by the pool! Calmed down in the pub afterwards I awoke on Friday with v sore throat - squeek squeek. Work was good -FANTASTIC (see I dont always moan!) A group of us from work went to Freeport Bowling - I am a bowling genius. Got the lowest score again. We had chinese at Aroma mmmmmmm I then went to Nounsley and picked up the Boys and Em and headed to Chelmsford. We went to Chicagos and got drunk. Matt was there with his mates so ... read more

I am currently incapable of work as my brain has died. It is tragic! May have overdone things this weekend! Friday I was very well behaved. Lucy and I stayed in and watched telly. We played beat the adverts, and had a laugh! Brilliant. Although she said I was a bloke as got the burps! This was without beer so little does she know!!! Saturday we decided that we needed more residents in the flat. Lucy wants a cat or something, such a shame that Boydens (or rental) say no to pets!!! However we did decide that we would be ok with Fishies! Soo after a lie in and some vegging out we hit town. We started at Wilkos with some reccie work on the cost of cheap fish food. Then went down to the Tollgate ... read more

Blog: 17th Oct Friday night went out in Chelmsford with Jan. Ended up in Chicagos, was great fun. Saturday I went up to Gildenburgh to do some training with Mary and Ian. They needed some dive leader skills signed up. I was tired, and they were trying to get one over on me I think!! It was really hard work, first stamping my autority all over the place, felt like the ugg man “me instructor, me in charge” ugg. The first dive I did with Mary was cack! Skills were rubbish, and meant I really had to do some serious instructor shite - not what you want on a Saturday, and def not with Dive leaders. Second dive was rescue skills, we didn’t even finish this, again rubbish and so I had to teach Ian and ... read more
