Well today was a drag. Did nothing much of the day until 3 when i walked to school for spanish. Class was interesting cause it was basically a review for me. I knew every thing that we learned so it was kind of boring and because of it i miss Obama's inauguration. So not such a good day. When i got back i read an e-mail fro Dr. dye saying that we are using too much electricity in the apartments and if we dont stop we are going to get charged for it. wonderful. On top of that we found out we have to pay 150 euro to the grada for our visas. Sure the school is going to pay us back but in cash which is not the same us paying for it. This week ... read more

Wed decided to do a small bar crawl on Tuesday night to see the different pubs in town. We started at Tully's and I had a Coors Light. I didn't know what to drink so I dedided to stick with Coors Light. We asked for shots of something green so the bartender gave us apple sour. The we asked for the strongest shot they have and he gave us shots of After Shock. It was a really strong peppermint flavor! We were the only people in Tully's but it was fun with the ten of us! We then went to Scraggs which was a lot bigger but also pretty empty. The locals said that the bars will get more crowded in February when the students come back from break. Chemistry lab this morning from 9-11. Another titration, but was right on! Anatomy lecture and talked to Sharon afterwards who still gave us no help. Cleaned up my room, ate some lunch. Went to practical from 2-3. Walked into town with Kaley, went to Garda alone. Met with guy who told us we were fine but was annoyed no one had shown up to the appointment. Walked to Aldi for fruit. Love walking through Carlow town and watched the people and listened to accents. Got back to apartments around 5pm. Studied and then decided to find ways not to study. Missed Chris so much today. Went back to studying, had supper, showered, and then studied more until bed. Can't wait for this test to be over! Decided tomorrow will be better about eating. Irish are almost ... read more

This morning I woke up earlier for Chemistry lab, but when I reached the room I was informed that it had been switched with Physiology lab so I didn’t have to go until tomorrow 3-5! I came back and studied a little before our 11 o’clock Anatomy lecture, which doesn’t actually start until 11:15 because of an “unofficial” coffee break. That was probably the best idea Carlow IT has ever made! Also before class I talked to Chris for a while, mostly about how amazing the weather has been in Australia (not fair!), and then the overseer of our apartments finally brought someone in to take a look at our internet connection. Planned for hostels in Italy early this morning! Finally found 1 for all 4 places we're going (Venice was hardest to find because it was difficult finding a cheap hostel in a good location) Afterwards went to bed around 2 am. Woke up around 8:20 and wanted to sleep longer but missed Chris too much. Got on to email him and he was online! We talked till physio lab at 9 which ended up being only 45 minutes so I was able to go back and shower, eat, and answer emails.... read more
