The scenery along this part of the Rhine and the Mosel river were magnificent and covered in vineyards on both sides. Most of the wines on board came from the Mosel region and were excellent. We finally started to see the sunshine on Wednesday and got a little bit of a tan as we had largely been hit with thunderstorms and rain. Having three meals a day served to you, each time with a minimum of three courses and most times four, tends to reek havoc on the waistline! Not much room to exercise on the boat but we did quite a bit of walking whenever we got off the boat. Bu Mosel kıyısı kasabaları aslında kuş uçuşu km olarak çok yakın olmasına rağmen nehrin salınımını takiben sürdüğünüz için yol biraz uzunmuş gibi geliyor. Fakat doğrusu iyi ki bu virajlı akış var. Bu sayede doyulmaz güzellikte manzaralara tanık oluyorsunuz. Hava da güzel olunca değmeyin keyfimize. Güneş dönmeğe yüz tutmuşken Cochem'e vardım. Çok gösterişli ve çok zengin bir Orta çağ kasabası daha. Tarihi ,kelt ve Romalılara uzanıyor... taaa 886 yılına kadar. On day nine we found ourselves in the town of Cochem in Germany, it was a really awesome place - really German. After breakfast we went our separate ways with Opa and Oma Riet heading off to do some shopping and mum and i off to the market square to catch the bus to the castle. On the way we did a fair bit of shopping, bought a bit of local wine. All the wine came in really cool shaped or coloured bottles, i bought one that’s like a conical flask, have only recently realised that it has bits of garlic floating in it, and may in fact be vinegar.
