In August 2021, I needed a holiday, and I thought a hiking holiday would be the best thing because I usually recover and recharge best when I go hiking. However, because of the ever-changing Corona regulations, I did not want to leave the country; I was worried that I might have to go into quarantine upon returning into Germany. So, I decided to book a holiday in the region of Harz from 14th to 21st of August. Harz is the highest of the Central German Uplands.
